A new trio album, featuring an original composition by Travis Wesley.  On the first three tracks, Travis' St. Louis based rhythm section is featured, which includes Ben Wheeler on upright bass and  Steve "Lil Dynamite" Tatum on drums.  On the remaining four tracks, Travis utilizes Peoria, IL based musicians Tim Brickner and Cory Flanigan, a group that Travis works with regularly throughout the Central Illinois area.  Travis is heard throughout the album playing a Fender Rhodes electric piano.  

There is an interesting contrast between the two rhythm sections on this album.  The St. Louis based group offers a modern and more adventurous sound whereas the Central Illinois based ensemble produces a a more "straight ahead" approach that swings extremely hard.  Both groups are worthy of recognition and Wesley makes a wise decision to utilize both rhythm sections.
